Application programming interfaces (APIs) allow applications to talk to each other on the backend. As a result, APIs are critical for transferring data from one application to another, and security issues found in them can lead to a data breach or leak.

3. Extreme accessibility
Accessibility is one of the biggest benefits of cloud data storage, but it can also be one of its biggest problems if it is not managed properly. Organizations that do not limit privileged access to some data may inadvertently compromise the data.
